Families across Khon Kaen, in their own words
Every household is different. These are some of the accounts we have been given permission to share β ordinary families who wanted their paperwork in order and found the process more manageable than they expected.

"I arranged the Starter Records Session for my mother after she mentioned she had no idea what paperwork she even had. Natthida came to the house and the whole thing was very relaxed β my mother was quite anxious beforehand but settled into it quickly. The inventory they left was clear enough that I could follow it as well. Worth doing."

"My wife and I did the Complete Records Programme together. It took about four visits over three weeks and covered far more than we expected β land documents, insurance, account records, old correspondence we had not thought about. The filing layout they left works well and my children have already said they could find things without us explaining anything."

"I was not sure whether to do the Starter session or go straight to the full programme. We ended up starting with the Starter and it was right for us at that point. Phumin was very straightforward and did not push anything further. The inventory is genuinely useful. We may do more next year β the door is left open, which we appreciated."

"We did the family conversations series after my father mentioned he wanted us to understand his wishes better but found it awkward to bring up. Anchalee made the whole thing feel completely ordinary β it was just a conversation, not a confrontation. We came away with clear notes and everyone in the family had been in the room for at least one session."

"Our records were in quite a state β various drawers, a box in the wardrobe, some things we had not seen in years. Trovata worked through it all without making us feel embarrassed about the disorder. The printed summary they produced was reviewed carefully and had only one minor correction needed. I would have liked them to refer us to a specific solicitor, but they explained that is not within their remit β which at least is honest."

"I arranged the Complete Records Programme remotely for my parents in Khon Kaen. Being abroad during the sessions was clearly going to be a concern, but the family briefing at the end included a video call with me so I could be present for that part. The written summary was sent to me as well. I feel much more settled knowing their records are in order."

Three household journeys
These are composites drawn from our experience across multiple similar households β details altered to protect confidentiality.
A widow managing her late husband's records alone
The situation
Her husband had managed all household paperwork. After his passing, she had no clear picture of which accounts existed, where property documents were stored, or who held the insurance policies. Her adult children were based outside the province.
What we did
We completed the Starter Records Session first, which revealed around thirty documents across four locations. We then returned two weeks later to begin the Complete Records Programme, completing it across three further visits. Her daughter attended by phone for the final briefing.
The outcome
A fully labelled archive with a plain summary her children could follow from Chiang Mai. She identified four documents that needed to be renewed through official channels β something none of the family had known about. Three weeks in total, including the initial session.
"I kept putting this off for two years. I should have done it sooner β it really was not the ordeal I had imagined."
A family wanting to talk through a parent's wishes
The situation
Two adult children wanted to have an honest conversation with their father about his wishes and his records, but found the topic difficult to raise directly. Previous attempts had stalled or led to discomfort on all sides.
What we did
We ran the Conversations for Planning Ahead series across two weeks β two structured sessions with the whole family present, and a shorter follow-up to review the printed guides. Anchalee facilitated throughout. The format gave everyone a clear frame to speak within.
The outcome
A set of printed guides covering each family member's understanding of the household's key records and wishes. The father noted three things he wanted to follow up with a solicitor about β we provided guidance on where to go. The family described the process as "unexpectedly straightforward."
"Having someone else in the room made it easier to talk. It was calm. We said things we had been thinking for years."
A retired couple wanting complete peace of mind
The situation
Both in their late sixties, they had accumulated decades of documents β some well-kept, others scattered. They wanted everything in one clear system that their two children could access easily, and a written summary that explained it plainly.
What we did
Four visits over five weeks. We created a full household archive using a physical filing layout adapted to their available space. The plain summary ran to twelve pages and was reviewed twice before handover. Both children attended the briefing session together.
The outcome
A complete, clearly labelled archive that both children confirmed they could navigate independently. The couple described feeling "settled" for the first time about their household's records. We identified seven documents requiring attention through official channels and provided resource notes for each.
"We have been meaning to do something like this for fifteen years. Now it is done, and done properly. We wish we had not waited so long."
